Lester Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Brown Sugar Filing

½ cup packed brown sugar

1 ½  tsp  ground cinnamon

1 ½ cups sugar

¾ cup stick butter or Marg.

1 ½ tsp Vanilla

3 large farm fresh Lester eggs

3 cups all purpose flour

1 ½ tsp baking powder

1 ½ tsp baking soda

¾ tsp salt

1 ½ cups sour cream

Vanilla glaze

½ cup powdered sugar

¼ tsp vanilla

2 – 3 tsp milk

…Mix all and drizzle on

  1. Heat oven to 350. Grease up and down all the side of a bundt cake pan.
  2. Prepare brown sugar filing and set aside.
  3. Beat sugar , butter, vanilla and eggs in large bowl.  Mix flour baking powder , soda and salt.  Beat the flour mixture and sour cream alternately into sugar mixture on low speed until blended.
  4. Spread one third of the batter into the fully grease and ready pan.  Now sprinkle one third of the brown sugar filling on top.  Repeat twice.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.  Cool slightly, remove from pans and place topside up on wire rack.  Cool ten minutes.  Drizzle with vanilla glaze.  …ENJOY!
